i saw F30 undeguise on the road

i was lucky enuff to view the car today...both 335 n 328. Well, here's the dun have list for 328:

1. No HUD, only avail for 335
2. No comfort access
3. No harman
4. No side window sunblind

Price i was told around RM309,800.....but not confirm yet. I still dun get the red stripe across the dasboard for sport line......but the rims r cool.

3)adaptive suspension
4)Harman,Harman,Harman audio....
5)sunroof

as expected of the spec list of the bmw's brought in by bmw malaysia, very disappointing. it's amazing in this day and age the engine hierarchy still plays a part in the selling of cars. Sometimes we would rather have a small engine bmw (320d) not because we can't afford the bigger engine but because we are well, more environmental concious and driving a big engine could be wasteful for us who stick to urban driving more? same goes for the spec list for the f10 520d which only advantage in terms of gadgets over my e39 is that it has a gps screen. seriously bmw malaysia, if you want us to buy cars from you and not hop over to the parallel importers improve the specs of your cars lah, or maybe give us an extended range of factory warrantied optional extras (head up display comfort seats), rim choices, trims etc.

Spoke with the BMW Malaysia boys, the CBU units are heavily taxed and they can't put lots of goodies into it as the price then skyrockets. The CKD units will be better speced as taxed at a lower rate. You can't customise the cars because customs calculates a single price for a single-speced car. 320d is this price. 328i is this price etc.

Really hope that BMW Malaysia keep their words to spec the SKD units better. Kind of difficult to accept a RM300k car with basic 6 speakers audio setup. At least, they can add some optional accessories like how Audi does for A4, e.g. body kit, sunroof, Band & Olufsen sound system, etc. Maybe doc can help to relay the message to them.

you choice window is closing by the day after this no more CBU already , other than grey which is if got problem you eat yourself.
