Hi Guys
I have been thinking about this for months,as found an abandon e23 735i, issit worth to rebuild and what is the mainatainance and road tax cost?
Do advise as the car is all original cond and if the price is right I might acquire it depending on advise by all sifus!

The car is not rusted and the internal external condition look good, except for the engine which is yet to be checked. The beauty about the car it is garaged!
Will try to look for the owner and maked him an offer, how much would the tax cost for a 735i?

its better to buy a running car
when its garaged....lotsa of things can happen unless you tak it through a full restoration process which will cost you at least rm30k or more!....
its up to you whether you wan to spent that much money right away...
in other hand....buying a running car gives you time build it while u drive it and trust me ...you will end up spending less and most items are still in good condition!

Agreed. Better buy a running car, unless u are a masochist!
The 735i I have has been quite reliable, & it just needs TLC when required.
Small quirks, like electrical problems are bound to happen, but overall, it starts easily. Just take care of the wear & tear stuff.
I drive this car up to penang a couple of times a year, & it is a wonderful cruiser, especially at these prices!
Only thing is the road tax at >RM4K...aaarrghhh!!!

Project defer as the driver of the owner claimed that the owner wishes to dispose off the car for 10k! Too much I would not even consider to purchase it at 4k as the tax is too much and there should not be any premium to the car consider the car has been idling for the last few years!
