Had a accident last weekend, crash into the those plastic fill wit water. After dismantle front bumper realize that the cover under the engine bay break into 2 pcs. Actually wat is the purpose of the plastic can i go witout it

Did some work on my X'mas day off. Spray my interior trim using Plastic Dip. Result satisfied....
