Sifus,Need help. I am in ipo hand my alternator has died. Managed to drive to Ipoh Pantai hospital. Are there any workshops around here where I can change my alternator. Please help!!

If you can wait, do send your alternator for repairs as it cost around RM150-200 most.

Just got to Ipoh garage thanks to Kayzen911, BMW7833 & haywire. One of guys is here and he said it is the alternator. Waiting for Saiful to come as he only arrives around 10.30. So having a cup of tea. I don't have the time to repair the alternator. I need to get this fixed fast as I need to be in Penang by this afternoon. Not sure if he can do it in time. Thanks for all the help guys

Thanks aidilj for the kind offer. Replacing the alternator with a recon one which is the fastest that can arrive. RM800 for it

This recond really not cheap.

Nope. Not cheap at all. But can't get a new one ad they need to get it from kl. The difference in price is RM100 only. The problem is that they are trying to get it and I am still in Ipoh waiting for the alternator to arrive and get fixed into the car :-(
