Can owners of F30 320i pls confirm if the car comes with a hard disk?Hv just been told there's none in the 320i.Tq

I think it is not hard disk per say. It's just a flash storage. I have it on my 328 but never actually use it to store any songs. I find it a waste of time to transfer the songs.

i have one 320i Sport line and my car have this Hard Disk 20 Gb.

Highly doubt your car came with the HDD unless you mean you put your own external inside the car for music.

personally, I hooked up my Ipod classic 120gb and have been using it ever since.

I prefer to stream music directly from a server through 3G network. Huge collection of music and always refresh and updated.

for 320i and 320d, confirm dont have.

For the new msport, unknown, have to check their spec. if there is no navigation, most likely no hdd.

The whole point of the hdd is to store the navigation maps.

Ppl nowadays talk about SSD/Flash. I dont think Hard disk fitted into new bmw...

In my car i have 2 usb ports, one in the arm rest and another im the glove box, my car have the GPS and DVD features and also Bluetooth file transfer capacity, in Brasil 320i BASIC dont have HDD and GPS features, but line models (Sport, etc) have.

Whats the purpose of this thread? Im not sure if all these actually adresses the thread starter's question.

There Should be some kind of storage for all cars with idrive. Just put in a cd, and if you can copy it to idrive, then you have a HD. If you don't, use an ipod, thumb drive or stream from your phone..
