It has been announced that Eagle F1 Asymmetric has finally made it's way into Malaysia.:elefant:Those who worship tires like Michelin PS2, Yokohama Advan and CSC3 may not so please to know that the new Eagle Asymmetric is here.:bath:This tire has beaten almost everything in it's class. TireRack, EuroTuner, EvoUk, Japan Auto, AutoBild Germany. Comfort vs Cornering vs Track Time vs Wet handling. :fight:Just letting everyone know here about this top performer being available. :goodnight:

Where to get it?
I'm thinking of getting rid of my Continental sport 2. Anyone else with roughness problems using this tyre?

samsam, mind sharing where to get hold of this F1 Asymm? Calling several Goodyear tire shops, everyone saying "there's only one F1 design". They mean the F1 GSD3.

For 235/45/17 that I am looking for, the F1 Asymm's loading is higher 97Y vs F1 GSD3's 94 (lower loading index).

Got the quote for F1 GSD3: ~RM640 for 235/45/17. Is that a good price?

Yes, pls share with us on the pricing and where to get. Very keen to get the 225/40/18 and 255/35/18.

wow.. should we look up for Goodyear Motorsports Msia for all ultra High Performance tyres?

contact details? in aman suria right?

Got mine at Serangoon

I got mine last week in Singapore vacationing for the school holidays.

More luxurious cushy ride.

Better than Michelin when raining anytime! :top::top:

bro, how much u get the price in sg (per piece)? and what is ur size factor? plz advice as im still trying to get suitable tyre to fit in my car.

Hi guys,

I just got these tires fitted to my car yesterday morning - 265/35/18s and they set me back RM3440 all around (these were fitted to my GTR hence the same size all around).

So far grip has been good even in the wet and noise is not an issue - bear in mind I've used nothing but semi-slicks in all my cars so I guess the noise, or lack thereof is something I've noticed. I'm not sure how it compares with other makes such as Continental.

I'll update on how it handles/rides at high speeds later. Hope that helps.

That is much cheaper relative to CSC3. Where's the shop?

Mine were direct from Goodyear via a local car performance magazine cause they wanted a guinea pig to try the F1s. Really sorry, but I'm unsure what the RRP would be but I doubt it would be higher than the RM860/pc I got mine for.

Anyways, went for a drive up Genting last night and the tires performed well. I also managed to squeeze in some hard launches, rough back lanes and also highway driving and its performed well. It's well worth the money in my opinion. Very comfortable ride even when driving with my hardest suspension setting.

Sounds like a winner! Where is the F1 Assymetric made in btw? What I've found is that for PS2, the batch which was made in France seems more supple and sticky compared to the Brazil made ones we get here these days. Could be all in the mind tho.. Hmm.

No bro. It's at N1 at the moment. I'm sick of it so its sorta outta sight, outta mind. :burnout:

planning a BMW purchase??

the STi,kena bite the bullet la..no choice,at least for me la.needed the money for other projects.the longer i keep it,the lower the price is gonna drop.plus, market sekarang ni,not very STi friendly.

u've got a GTR..so no hal la.STi dah macam redundant..

Thinking about it, but its hard deciding between the new GTR or the new M3. Both so similar in price yet portray such different images of the owner. I'll see how it goes - busy with work atm so lots of travel so cars have become a rare pleasure lately.
