That's only 9.000 miles !!!!

I'm on 19" assymetric 1 germany now. Best ever tyre I've used so far thou its the 1st time I use good tyres beside conti, toyo, yoko. Surprisingly low noise for 30 & 35 series. Grip is awesome on dry & wet but I guess threadwear faster. Hope can try the assymetric 2 in future but the price is killing. Hope they can bring those made in Thai version to M'sia.

The PS2 on my E46 wore down to their minimum thread indicator after 18,000kms.

My friend is going to try the F1 Asy 2 on his 325i sport, 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 for RM760 and RM930 respectively.

So far there is only positive reviews from around the world.

My Assym F1 lasted less than 6 months, about 18k km at the rear. The front last twice as long but suffered from sidewall cracks, and the second set on the front (after replacement) also had the same problems and this is a known fact all over the world especially one the 235/35/19 units. However, this has been rectified I was told.

I have no qualms about using these tires again, except that now with the price increase, PSS and CSC5P are also as good if not better.

little dissapointed cause the GY Asym2 F1 does not have my rear wheel size, 255/45/17. Looks like have to look at the new Pirelli P Zero or the CSC3. Wanna change all my 4 tyres in these few weeks.

Msg from VAG SG forum: The infamous sidewall crack continues on F1 Asym 2. Anyone among us facing the same problem? I am going to replace my all 4 tyres.

Looks scary man.... :42: Are you sure this is A1 or A2!?!?

So far so good on my ride with A2 (about 8K km), but i notice the noise level is on high side...

Bro 7833:

The wording "Asymmetric 2", about 10cm in length should be visible if full picture is available.

Shit..definitely look scary man..
Eventho GY claimed the problem has been solved, how can we be assure that the tyres still with the dealers are from the same earlier 'technology' which is problematic..

Anyone to share their experience with the new batch of GY F1 AS2? Any idea on pricing for 225/45R17 and 255/40R17?

Am on GY AS2 235 45 18 all round with BBS RK2 for few months now, so far so good. Did a tire rotation and inspection after 7K km during my regular service all look good.
