Yep..this one is better than spybot but *sigh* it still failed to cleanup a spyware and a trojan in my laptop weeks ago.. Ended up using another shareware which has limited capability ie. scan and clean 10 times instead of 1 clean run and got the job done.. Haven't tried out spyware blaster though..

If you computer already been infected with the spayware, sometimes it is so difficult to get rid of it. Even you run the anti spyware program it still coming back.

What you can do is try is get the 'process explorer' and identify all programs that running in your computer. Identify the spyware 'mother' process and kill the process first. If not the spyware will keep re-create itself after the cleaning. Then launch your spyware program for scanning. Then clean up using CCleaner program. Then activate your realtime protection program.

It works for me.

This new anti-malware tool from MS is also pretty good at removing existing malicious software on your machine.. Its something which came out from their recent company aquisitions a few months ago (as with their Anti spyware tool).
