Hello hello.....Crunch time....need to purchase a set of front shock for E36 325. Now my darn car looks like a dragster...:pBoge is ori. and dealers has been pushing Bilstein these days. I believe Boge is oil an bilstein is gas actuated or is it the other way round? Both brand is similiar in price. Before I purchase... anyone can share their experience on these shocks particularly in terms of ride comfort and durability ka? Cheers.p.s.Am running on standard spring

My little knowledge say that gas actuated is better than oil. more compressible. go for bilstein.

Mine is always Boge. Check out for a turbo gas from BOge is you are interested with BOGE. Bilstein is well know to have counterfeit and many of them are recon.

Boge got turbo gas  ... that's new to me. Where to get and how much leh?

Getting the shocks either from Struttgart, BA, 1st Div etc. I think they aren't selling counterfeit la or recon. Hopefully... Are there places beside they reputable shops.. to get shock from?

Thanks everyone for chipping in advice. Much appreciate it.

Puhhhh, lucky you delete it early in the morning. I'm afraid the home minister thought i'm browsing xxxx

Thanks for the appropriately mercurial retort, Mr Jerman. We do get such salacious material inveterately.

Indecorous material duly removed.

Hey Sesat, I used the bilstien yellow but very unconfortable. too hard for comfort. Changed back to boge. now too soft. Might have to look at progressive shocks. Or coilovers. Heard there are bilstien black, never tried.
I changed both my shocks as well as Springs.

i am having the best ride of my life using coilovers...:D

Anyone have used eibach spring for E36 318i for sale? love to lower my ride.

Prefer KL seller for easy buy

Sesat, what coil overs are you using? How's the feel in term of comfort and performance? Appreciate your input

i'm sticking to blistein shock (black) H&R coils front & rear, not too hard and not too comfort, if lari about 170kmh ok lorr...no goyang-goyang. cornering also so-so.
better get the blistein adjustable c/w coils...you can choose the type of ride u want

This particular thread tends to attract a alot of p*rn spam. Which one is a p*rn star or movie, Bilstein or Boge or both? Geezzzz.

How does the Boge Turbo Gas compare to the stock Boge, in terms of cornering stability and ride comfortability?
