The GT1 can even re-adjust the clutch gap for SMG2.

Can you elaborate more on the clutch gap?

sorry for not updating for so long.. mine can read but i never try the live data so far.. left my unit in office, will try it on monday. Dare not to click anything on my first successful attempt but after reading all the feedback and guide.. i think i know wat to do aldy.

Issue #2 - Win7 or Win Xp cannot installed the USB driver.

Chances is the driver is not window 7 compatible or you have not logged in as "Administrator"

Latest win 7 driver can be download at the following:-
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM20808.zip

Check out the the page located at http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm for more details.

Thanks Jarance, i got it sorted out, the program comes with driver in the subfolder.... working perfectly with Win7.

1. Live data working perfectly, e46/05 msport local
2.Manage to change the service interval to 10k
3. I cant get the lock/arming beep sound like u say. did i click something wrong? the 2min after unlocking is working.

OK, try this test.
1. Lock your car with the remote key. (i.e. arm the alarm)
2. Open the door using the key at the driver side. (enter into car without disabling the alarm)

Does your alarm goes OFF? If it does not, then your alarm might be having some issue.

The arming "sound" comes from the same buzzer and not from the car horn.

2. Open the door using the key at the driver side. (enter into car without disabling the alarm)

mmm ... is motion sensor comes as standard with the alarm? Is it possible to have the alarm but with out the motion sensor from factory?

Mine is local ab car.. same batch with Jarance. I rmb my bro once told me tat bmw cars doesnt comes with alarm.issit?
Anyway, i did wat Jarance suggested, no alarm sound but the side marker was blinking.. could it b my siren spoiled?

did you check the 'acoustic' option for the alarm on the scanner software?

Some Japan import BMWs doesnt have alarm and PDC, dunno why. My car certainly have one.

Haywire bro, i posted a screenshot.. i checked all, updated. But still no beep sound when i lock d car. Can u see whether i miss out abything? Thks

For some cars that i did the setting also don't have the beep sound, i mean the E38 lah. Like what Jarance told to test the alarm system first is the best. If no sound when the alarm triggered, u should check ur siren..maybe the connection is not good.
