Cant wait to see physically the new C class in Jan-2014. Based on photos alone, the front looks like E-class while the back like S-class. I wonder when is the CKD release date.

Don't think so. This problem is exclusive to BMW. Hahaha

Since this design flaws was inherited from E30, why BMW still didn't change the design ? Same design flaws also happen on 5 series, what a dismay !

I believe there's rationale behind this design. I can only think that this is probably due to cooler air lies lower to the ground and hot air rises above and this is probably true for European roads where there is not much sun and the road is always cool.

Why Mercedes or VW or Peugeot doesn't have such problem in their design ? Where are the lesson learnt ?

That's why it is a BMW the ultimate driving machine. Hahaha. I have no idea.

The road surface is always hot, there won't be cool air on the lower surface. Besides, within 3 feet from the road, there won't be any different. same hot air, plus exhaust front the car in front.

Actually should blame our drainage systems. There is always floods everywhere. No proper planning and always construction everywhere which clogs up drains.
Dont think any car in the world is designed to handle floods. Honestly, if wanna drive thru water, better buy submarine.

As much as the design is poor, the other contributing factor is rubbish thrown by folks. May it be from their cars, or the cigarette butts or pieces of tissues and plastic bags, it all clogs up the drains and sewage system.

The new C looks like kereta sambung. Small head with big backside. Something is wrong. The design is nice, awesome but does it look abit weird looking when u see it from the front till the end? Interior is something new, look at it. Wow! But can it outcome the F30 in terms of performance n handling ?

the standard F30 handling can easily be beaten by Mercedes Benz, or any other manufacturer. power output of the 2 liter 320i is nothing to shout about also.

Interior wise the new C Class is classier than the BMW. Exterior wise...very subjective I would say.

Can't comment for the handling as no one has ever driven it before and the engines for the new C Class are of the new generation so I think it will be a close battle between the two but I think MB will maintain the status quo whereby the C Class will go for comfort and some sportiness in its Avantgarde form while the BMW will be good in the handling and performance department.

Now all we need to do is wait for Audi to unveil its next generation A4.

In my opinion, the dashboard and interior of the new C class is trashy..too much like the A / CLA stuff. no elegance and too much unresolved lines. Just look at the " ipad" glued to the middleof the dashboard. Yucks. it ls like Merc is trying hard to drag every newmodel it has to make them closely as ugly as the CLA....
