no, it shouldnt be. Passat CC R should be poor man's M3. Not M5. Volkswagen does not have a global rival for 5 series.

Yup that is right! The Passat is a D-segment car and the 5-series is an E-Segment car based on this chart

Thanks Mavik for the wiki link. Segment seems to be linked to the size. So here's a comparison of the external length:
F10: 192.9 in
F30: 182.0 in
Passat: 191.6 in

In the UK, a brand new Tiguan cost abit over 20k pounds, while the X1 is priced from 23k. Hardly a significant difference.. unless we are being penny wise..

GTi: 210PS@5300-6200rpm, 280Nm/1700-5200rpm, kerb weight 1,414kg, 6 speed DSG, 0-100kph 6.9s

maybe that gti driver wasn't pushing the car..heheh.. :vroam:

share with us the figures of your modded 320d la bro..powerkitted, Datuk, exhaust, intake, remap etc I'm sure would be good encouragement for those outside

Bro Silverbullet... fyi my car already being vectored for the past one year ago...my 0-100 already tested using scangauge bro...it shown 6.5 sec from 0-100...dyno done shown 450Nmm2 and 200hp...moral of the story there is never ending story for modification.... so mode your car if u dare la...dyno chart can be found in this forum..do search for

0 - 100 km/h - GTi win

100 - 180 km/h - Sama-sama

180 km/h above - GTi coughing with D smoke

This was with a 177hp car, in most cases stock standard.

wah really? didn't know the D with much lower hp and shorter rev band is faster at speeds more than 180 km/h

cannot rempit with u la wan...your 335 is monster..ours is small pirate.....that one on wheel dyno bro...this mode is awesome but still small compare to your 335..next time i ll buy a recond M3 then we compare with this GTi...agreed?heheehhe

wow if on wheel even better mod!! share with me a bit la what u have done..so it should be 16whp and 70wtq? i have always liked the 320d..not bad hp, very high torque, superb FC..that time mind was saying 320d but in the end followed the heart for a poor man's M3, the 335i..

No offence bro but i've played with many Gti's and 320d on the highway (latest today in fact lol) i would say GTi is much faster than 320d as the GTi can keep up with me easily when going 200 and above. I couldn't say the same thing about 320d though. Scirocco on the other hand is really fast even in stock standard from though on paper they're the same power output as the GTi's

Played with modded GTi's then it's different story larr i got smoked pretty bad lol.
