Er u talking about v8 or inline six? The gearbox are two different units. U can't switch them around. LSD only came on the M5, I6 never had. But I've done custom new LSD units for 46 and 39. The 46 is running with a TS. The 39 will be a fire breathing dragon and eat puppies for breakfast. Lol.

I bought my N42 engine at around RM 8K - you have to add the cost of a full set of gasket and labour. I think RM 15K do-able

Nice to here that your UDM is out and all good i did swing by to check on something and i saw the guys doing the finishing touches on your ride.

I am driving a M54 2.2 2003 model.

Just would like to meet up with you and see how did you go about changing the Engine to a M54 3.0, the gearbox is still your original how about the ignition key as it comes with immobilizer attached to the ECU rite that a module by it self if iam not wrong.

I am planning to change mine too 3.0 in the near future.
