My local friend set his up with ESS twin scroll supercharger about 370 hp street, perhaps 390 on high octane. Is slightly faster than S54 stock e46M but I would prefer it with an Escargot.

E60 and E46 M54b30 has been successfully turbo to about 400-450 ps +/-. some single some twin turbo setups-

The modification must start from cooling system as the M54b30 has too many plastic items!!!

If healthy, the Longmotor is very stout (Mahle pistons and forged rods and forged crank) and can withstand as stock a GT30r without issues- M54B30 has 84mm bore pistons is happier on boost than 86 or 86.4 or 87mm bore.

Thanks for the info :top: I've been following Nick G set-up for quite some time ... Those E60 and E46 you mentioned is on a piggyback set up no? If i'm not mistaken his kit is the 1st in the world to fully utilise the stock DME for turbo application when it comes to M54 engine... His stg 2 makes a bit more power then the ESS TS2
 
salam fared.....convert je m3...mine body ori e36 325...tk cukup bla nk drif pun hampeh...tp bila da duduk dlm 3.2 ni pehhhhh mmg best ...best dr ijz vvti...da convert m3 engine for 3 years n no prob at all..lanyak mcm ape pn still ok...mmg ler lasak...
