Do you know where I can get a set of E pro-kit, and how much would it be? I've got a set of Apex if anyone wants to swap. Too hard for my teeth!

:D

I think APEX is softer than Eibach ...

Was running in on Bilstein last time ...

Pls advise advantages on installing coil overs..do they enhance or retard the bounce... :p :D :D
et5

what kinda bounce are you talking about.!!!.....

there are many types coilovers

1. adjustable dampening only or height only
2.adjustable height and dampening

basically the kits sold are matched to one another, this is for serious performance drivers and with some light track use

heavy track usage usually has stiffer dampening and rebound rates

so the stiffer it is, the harder it bounces....... :D :p

I have Apex springs which are pretty tough. According to other sifus in this forum, the Eibach's Pro-lines are softer.

Any other opinions?

:dunno:

depends how it is matched with the absorbers

suspension is a system, spring rebound rate will haveto be matched with absorber dampening rate, if not either will feel out of whack

another factor is if the springs are progressive or not, if not sure what is progressive, do a search on aborbers/springs/suspension, this was covered in detailed sometime back, was a hot debate too.....

also to note is that different makes have different rate for the models, so it's not advisable to compare Apex made for E30 with E34,E36,E46, etc and eibach/bilstein makes between models

some say eibach with bilstein sports is perfect ,on the E30 it is, but on the E34 it's a different story.....

and another would be personal preference too
not forgetting the wheel size, tyre size and tyres themselves make a difference to the whole suspension setup........

so bottomline is, does it still makes the tits bounce more or less as in my avatar..

aiya... B) at the end its the drivers preferences la.. his driving style la... :)
