Actually during the oil talk, I was wondering what's on Salina's mind when the boys are asking oil, engine tech questions... She stay there for the whole session... amazing!

I can imagine myself seated in a room with ladies when the speaker touch on make up, beauty care product and issues for more than an hour.. Hmmnnn......:31:

Thanks to all those who attended for making the EGM a success! Not only was the quorum achieved by a mile, there was also good quality in how the issues were discussed and decisions made. This certainly augurs very well for the Club and its future.

I must also thank Ingress Auto for providing us such a first class premises and sponsoring the food and refreshments. With some of the nicest BMWs on display at their showroom which we had full access too, well, it made our days, didn't it. For those who didn't attend, the latest X6, X5, M5, 630i Individual, E92 335i and 135i Coupe were not only on display but were left unlocked. Ingress - if any parts missing, please contact Astroboy, especially for headlamp connection covers!... (just kidding - I was watching him like a hawk, hahaha!)

I also wish to thank my colleagues in the committee and those who lent a helping hand for making everything run so smoothly.

Last but not least, thanks to Castrol Malaysia for the highly beneficial oil talk and Q&A.

My dear Astroboy my first intention of joining BMWCM is to learn more about my car.. Therefore whenever opportunities arrise for me to learn I won't hesitate.. :wink: I have to admit i kinda blur with what you guys talking
about, but what the heck the most important thing is that I'm willing to learn
more about my car.. By the end of the day i did manage to gain knowledge as lil as it might be it is still knowledge :wink:

p/s: not all girls only talk and know about make up only... u might be suprise if u know what kinda knowledge I have :4:

so is this the oil viscosity recommended for our cars? can i buy this from my friendly neighborhood fuel station?

It all depends on what type of engine you have under the hood. Generally from what the expert mentioned, lower viscosity engine lube will improve efficiency and also hp. Best guide is to follow the manufacturer's recommendation.
