ECU Remapping for M54

I am meeting up with Bernard from BVO Auto of Singapore (http://www.bvo-auto.com/) for ECU remapping this Saturday for my own car. Bernard has asked if there is anyone else interested especially for M54 engines since he has a ready made mapping for it. A club member recently did a remapping with him and now a happy bunny coz now he can overtake the express buses on NSE. I am driving an E39 525i M54 engine and currently seriously considering upsolute tuning. I was offered RM1800 for the whole process if I can find a group of 5 or more. I was told that bernard of BVO is good at doing fine tuning for cars that are already remapped but I am not sure how good he is at doing remapping. How much does he charge?

Are you still using your sprint booster after the remapping? Why?

ECU remapping (tuning)
When we remap an ECU we are basically fine tuning the program that deals with engine performance. As well as producing greater power and torque we also deal with drivability problems at lower rev ranges such as flat spots and hesitation issues giving the engine more initial torque making a more responsive and enjoyable drive.

Petrol (Naturally Aspirated)
Remapping a petrol engine ECU will produce 10 - 15% BHP depending on exact specification, the engine will also be more responsive on initial acceleration and produce more torque (up to 20%) through out the entire rev range, giving more response on lighter throttle.

Fuel consumption will remain unless driving habits changes.

The remaping is from Dimsport italy and I have further improve to customize to our enviromentment issues.

Price - S$ 600.00.

I thought 528 only comes with M52.

what i know is that m54 - double vanos, b28 - 2.8L , TU is for the technical upgrade -drive by wire, etc..

Actually the 528 is the M52B28 and M52TUB28

M54 for the 2.2 and the 2.5 and the 3.0
