after all this discussion/ arguments, the car of my choose is W204 C230, But on this FEB my C230 was be KNOCK, The thief get into my house and get the key......very bad for me...

one thing is the car thief most like Benz, so if u want u car safe buy the BMW....

Sorry to hear about your loss bro. Malaysia's not safe anymore. Stupid crooks are everywhere; targeting people left right & centre. Glad you're safe bro; shaken and traumatised perhaps, but stuff like this makes us cherish our lives.

Hope you'll still be able to achieve your dream of driving either the Merc or Bimmer. Btw, IMHO, I think those crooks will still target Bimmer or Merc drivers all the same. Even Camry drivers aren't spared. Hope all those crooks can just rot in hell.

reviving this old thread ... wat do u all think in term of comfort level of passenger not driving pleasure of an e90 compared to w204? i don't deny that e90 is very fine to drive but rear passenger always complaning about the bumpiness in ride. anyone have experience owning both? cheers

Hi Ken, I have tried on my friend's C230 V6 Advangarde, it is definitely more comfortable in terms of suspension settings but just like E90, leg room is limited. However when I test drove it, I think there is more PROs owning a E90 then CONs.

the C230 lag in power response as well as the suspension and steering, are just too loose for even semi spirited driving. Besides, E90 323 / 325i sports has more accessories and gadgets!

so far only the 7sili fares better in terms of driver satisfaction and passenger 'comfortness'...hehe

e90-3100 : thanks for your view. i did try the c230 on penchala link and i honestly felt its not too bad in terms of power n handling. it feels easier to drive and yes, steering does feel light. the engine needs to be work harder and lacks the low end torque but i guess most NA engine suffer from this symptom compared to turbo, unless with a 5L above then different story la. yeah, do agree that e90 325 has definitely more gadgets to play with. well, since i've tried e90 before, y not give the 3 pointed star a chance. btw, try pushing the v6 into high rpm n the engine does sound good. also, the 7G transmission changes preety fast but abit jerky

t2ribena: yalor, not so passenger friendly. since its for my wife to drive n i'll be the passenger most of the time, so tat's y i'm considering the c230 for her.. hehehe

well, the people on this forum are mature enough to discuss on the pro n cons of each make. just wanted to know opinions of different people on both the makes
and comparing to porsche ... its like comparing apple to orange. not necessary a porsche is better than either bmw or merc. honestly, i terms of ride comfort, hands down, the porsche looses.
hence, different cars for different occasions!
