E46 key replacement

my car is a CKD. it is using a 315 or 433mhz remote?

CKD normally is 315mhz. Only uk spec using 433mhz. Come to meet me to confirm your key frequency.

Check Eagle Locksmith in Jalan Gopeng, Klang. My key casing was badly chewed up by one of my dogs. Went to Auto Bavaria, they said that I need to buy a bran new key with the transponder, quoted me RM910 and 14-21 days to collect as the key is shipped from Germany. Managed to get the case replaced and the one of the buttons on the transponder fixed at Eagle Locksmith for RM350 only.

I just got my 2nd hand E46 318i CKD yesterday.During my trip back from the owner's house, the aicond was cold as I am using 1 of the key which the owner is using.The key already spoil on the BMW button meaning that cannot lock but can unlock therefore I try the spare key which also abit faulty.The spare key is more terrible as using the spare key the car aircond did not work. Just to ask advised from all the sifu in BMW forum. Does the key affected aircond?

I would be certainly be surprised that the spare key would affect the air-condition system. Suggest you go to Eagle Locksmith @ Klang to have both your key fob replaced.
