I have a 2001 e39 525i M-Sport registered in 2007 (WPG number plate) from the UK in Interlagos Blue with Black interior on 19" Schnitzer Type IV rims for sale. Just got myself a e92 335i, so looking at letting go of the 5. Has always been serviced at Obermaier. Mileage is around 129,000 km.

I would really love to see how an E39 looks in Interlagos blue. I'm quite sure this car has been repainted since the Interlagos Blue hasn't yet existed in the E39 era?

That's correct, the car was originally white but when I bought it from the dealer, it had already been stripped and ready to be repainted, so I was given the option to choose the colour, so Interlagos Blue it was...!! 1st one in KL at that time I believe. I have since seen another.

Unfortunately, the first time they did it, it came out rather purplish and about 3 years ago, whilst getting rid of some knicks on the door, decided to respray the car again.. it is now the right colour....

Will try to upload some pics when I can.... will be demoding some of the stuff prior to sale.. have my hi-fi to take out as I want to keep the Alpine Head-unit with iPod controller.. if the purchaser is keen to keep the hi-fi, then will only need to get a new headunit. Happy to have either option, probably extra RM3.5K with hi-fi left in.. spent around SGD4K when I installed it at the best car hi-fi shop in Singapore.. his work is really awesome and clean...

Haywire... you can see the jogs there.. Interlagos Blue is different under different lighting conditions, at night almost black and during the day can go from dark blue to a shiny blue..
