BTW, the plaster on the grill was mine as complained to my mech before the meet-up on why the fitting of the after market grill was bad, so he put some black silicon and plaster to hold for 24 hours. So far better fit.... hehehe and my car was the dirtiest among all the shining E39s.

Probably one of the fastest though - manual 530i ....makes one drool!!!

Guys,

Before posting picture of the cars, please edit and blank out the number plates.

This is for security reasons and also to respect the privacy of the car owners.

Thanks you for your understanding and co-operation.

I am using the matte black aftermarket grille, no problem at all, may be mine one is grade AAA product. :4:

I am also using the matte version however its not perfect. Fits in but doesnt stay in place. Luck of the draw if yours is perfect.

Hehe sorry I forgot. Definitely remember you from now on.

So bro, what's the possibility and effort like, to mod our ride to have foldable rear seats? :4:

1. find the foldable seat
2. ??
3. ??
4. ??

1. find the foldable seat
2. Cut the metal reinforcement sheet in the back of the existing seat
3. ??

I foresee one quite irritating problem with retrofitting the foldable seats.

The folding seats comes with a locking device, and it wont match your existing key. Quite annoying if you ask me. And reading on the net for a few days, I cant see anybody who's done it before, other than few guys asking if it could be done.

Anyway I had a nice run with an E39 540i WME9484 this evening, on my back from work. Saw him in the jam in front of Pusat Sains heading towards Hartamas, and I was just behind him. Couldnt be sure if it was dark green, dark blue or black as its quite dark at 9pm.

Then I saw the badge, 540i. Damn, a rare find here. Was wondering whether it was a poser or the real deal. So I wind my window down, and tried to listed carefully to its engine note. Of course you cant really hear these sleeper cars in the jam until the owner floors it.

Fortunately he's heading the same way as I am towards Penchala Link. So I teased him, following very closely until he floored it right after the tunnel. Undoubtedly it was a genuine 540i. That V8 sound is unmistaken to my ears.

So have any of you guys seen this car before? This is my second encounter with it, saw it a few months ago but then it was parked and stationary. I gave a thumbs up after we split our ways heading to LDP.

Bro, I'm glad you're very ill after the recent TT, after that red-car-with-four-persons-onboard incident. Hope you won't get any better soon :4:

At this very moment I'm typing, there's no known cure to this yet.
