Can some one help on how much is an ori air con compressor cost for E39 Yr 2000.

RM 500 inclusive of labour? But it breaks your heart and the "nightmares" seeing everything including the dashboard, seats.........etc stripped down with hundreds of clips, bolts, nuts, wires all over the place

Bro he meant just reconditioning the compressor. Not removing the cooling coil. They'll either offer you a reconditioned unit or have your unit reconditioned for around that price.

Rm480 to recondition ur existing compressor, Rm60 gas, flush aircon system Rm120, receiver dryer Rm155, Labour Rm100.

Sunway. Name of shop is T&T, just few shops away from the big falken tyre shop, on the same row. The T&T is just opposite the black colour board of a used car dealer.
Do compressor and alternators...anything to do with compressor and alternator, can go there.

Basically changed the insides of my compressor with new pistons, gaskets and all...

I hv A/C question. My E39 520i 2003 blows nice cool air from the front vents, but hot air (same like hair dryer) from rear vent. My MID pixel kaput. Now, I am asking you brothers to assist with advices. Is it the setting? how to set cool air front and back? Is the setting hidden by the missing MID pixels?

try checking to make sure the rear vent aircon temperature control is pushed to "blue"
