Hi guys,Has anyone had any experience using these headlights? They look cool and they are selling dirt cheap on e-bay. What are your takes? Or am I better off keeping what I have now?

taiwan made? what's wrong with your existing headlamp?

if you want the angel eyes, buy it for RM390 and diy it.

if you want a brighter light, fix a hid. the cheapest around RM300 to the most expensive around RM2k

if you want the black color surround the light, diy it. you can paint it what ever color you want.

if you want the non yellow color signal, taiwan made will cost you RM50 per side and OEM will cost you RM100 per piece

Wow, I take it you are STRONGLY against buying this, huh, Strider?
Point taken. Beside cosmetic improvement, my current headlights are very difficult to readjust, just can't get my projectors to focus at the right spot. Maybe the adjustment screws are worn. Sometimes I also hear a slight buzzing sound in the headlight unit and I don't want to wait until something bad to happen before I do something. I guess I'm better off buying a new OEM unit?

Thanks for the advise guys. I did decide to get a good condition 2nd hand light and installed it DIY while I was at it. I removed the inner lense and transferred the rings. Much easier to focus the light too.

The first two pictures are "before". The third one is "after".

Mission accomplished

The next one is also left side after replacing and the following 2 pictures is my HID mod picture. Yup decided to upgrade to HID. Took a whole da to do them but it immediately changed the outlook of the car. In the last picture you can see the difference between original and the 6K upgrade. RM500 well spent for the lights and RM300 for the HID.

Thanks InitialM... and everyone else.

it started off with taiwan made headlamp and it end-up with diy angel eyes and hid. good for you vinode.

by the way, did you check the rear cluster light for me? the one with only red and white. thanks

I posted this earlier. I saw a lot of "goodies" there, including the rear white light cluster you wanted. But I only found out later that you're looking for it. Didn't ask him the price etc. If you want I can drop by and check the price next time I'm there.
