"Hello" to all you great folks out there and my apologies for the little confusion of my last posting (refer posting: Item Costs - EVO3).

It was also good meeting you at M1, Jules. Love your re-upholstered front bucket seats. Very very commendable effort on your part too for your rare and beautiful ride. Keep it up!!

Rear Brake Disc Conversion Cost - Clarification.

Rear Trailing Arm Set: $1,200.00 (left & right - used)
Brake Disc Skimming: $70.00 (left & right)
Rear Brake Pads: $300.00 (left & right set - new)
Workmanship cost for rear brake disk conversion: $200.00
Total conversion cost with used disc : $1,770.00

In my case, skimmed (used) disc too thin, thus unsafe for use and hence, new discs replacement. Rear Brake Disc: $320.00 (left & right - new)

Additional item costs

1. New fuel pump: $850.00 (M1 - Ara Damansara)
2. Rear "dual-piece" spoiler - top portion only: $180.00 (BumiFiber-USJ)

Pictures of UDM certainly on the way - when better organized.

Cheers to you all and happy to be a part of this proud and sharing family!.

Obeeshank.

gee tks 2cents
No need to thank, dude but if u wan, nex time just use the PM function (button) for that purpose otherwise we end up making other forumers click open emailed links just to c other forumers engaged in trivial/ personal discussion which is fine for a chat room and some trivia-type forum posts but dis is a tech forum so u may perhaps dispense with the usual courtsies & courtesies.
I'd suggest/ recommend u make dis ur norm so we won't end up cluttering each other's email box. :D

Guys,

accidentally drove my 1984 model e30 320i over a huge speed bump (damn the roads with no sign and lights) and cracked my oil sump badly. Next morning woke up to a bad flood of engine oil all over the car park.sent (or rather towed) to my regular place and this is the summary of the bill ;

1) Used Oil Sump RM 280

2) Oil sump Gasket RM 35

3) Labour RM 120

which brings the grand total to RM 435.

what do you guys think,is this reasonable?

Cheers.

dont know if this is noted before,

im having idling problem, went to a few hafkat shops, been qouted anywhere between RM60-150.

2 previous idle valve i bought didn't perform so well which i bought for RM100. current one is RM60 but work ok :p

workmanship; free, i just go to the workshop where i usually service.

for those who like to have nice carpet set for the comfort of our own eyes, a set of 5pcs with BMW logo, its only RM130 from 1st Div. I think its for e46 as it comes with lock holes that don't have for e30 but fit in nicely. happy as mine is as old as the car.

I got a pair of new fog lights for my car at 1st Div. last pair, lucky me at RM700 a pair, last month.

Bosch Fuel Pump RM385
Fuel Filter Rm45
Fuel Pump Relay Rm115
Installation DIY
