E30 Parts & Maintenance

Hi Everyone
Mine E46 model recently there is black oil leakage from and send to CARTRADE. After 3 days out from the workshop leak again this happening for past 2months. I already fed-up this CARTRADE ppl and keep my car for more than 1 week everytime i send. Please suggest good workshop near SUBANG, SUNWAY or USJ Please

M40 oil filter (First Div) cost me 18-00...whereas Ultimate charged me 30-00 for it + 25-00 upah.......never felt so bad before......lepas tu tak pegi dahh!

I've a prob on my E30..1st: engine oil "missing" without leaking..I'm suspecting of valve seal warned out...or maybe piston rings??...but than, white smoke did not appear when normal driving...it is only come when car is on the running engine (air cond running) but stationed for about 20 minutes. when its happened, the engine become unstable..please gives some opinion...

it's not hard to take care of it....it's just like any normal ride.. i got my ride few months back and i'm loving it..

Cheap GB oil = rm44

Engine
4 small bush at the head = rm9 ea. dunno wat its called
Mobil 1 = rm49 per liter

Total: rm673 got discount and pay rm614

I know what can buy the same pads 20% cheaper.... Actually i never bought Brake pads from Bav Auto before cos this is one item they seem to overprice since I started buying parts from them... The rest of the stuff are ok..

i'm just a newbiee, moreover BA is quite near my office, so just grab from them. their stock are well kept. can get everything from them.

by the way, do u know where i can get Eibach Pro Kit at a good price? i ask from once shop b4, they quoted me RM1100 excluding installation. and where are these eibach manufacture from? someone told me they come from 2 country thailand and germany. is it true?

Hey, for those of you who have the brembo disc brakes, wad model are u using? I'm using 318i M40 and running on vented discs. Any idea whether the Brembos can fit into mine? Pls advice tnx!!

The brembos for the E30 are most probably the OEM replacement disc and not those used for the high end sport/performance cars ie Porsche.
