I will be to the point.

I have had a less then pleasant experience dealing with this individual. It started when the deal was done and I had paid the deposit for the car and a written agreement was made that he tried to renegotiate the price of the car. Furthermore he called me up 2 days after I had paid the deposit to tell me that he wanted to remove the sound system and that it was not part of the price to which I replied "No way. A deal is a deal."
Further to this when the deal was concluded I requested for the spare key which he highlighted to me during the first test drive was available.
When I requested for the key after the balance was paid he told me that the spare key was with his car dealer and I would need to pay RM400 in order for the dealer to release the key. Relieved that the deal had gone through I passed him the money in good faith. My mistake for doing so and not questioning further.
Approx 3 months later and after numerous followups the key is apparently "lost" and I have yet to receive back my money despite numerous reminders from me and assurances from the individual that it would be refunded.
The issue is not about the sum involved but rather the principle of the matter and how it has panned out.
I have been told that I would be receiving my money by the end of the month but after what has happened over the last 3 months I am not optimistic.
I did not want to have to do this but I felt it was my responsibility to ensure that my fellow BMW Club members were made aware of this in order to avoid a similar experience with this individual.
Hellraiser I hope that this post is not inappropriate in any way as the objective is to hopefully get my money back and to alert fellow club members.
Please feel free to advise/delete/comment what I have summarized today

Max, good that you have brought this matter out. I am sure the RM was never the issue. Thank you we all leraned to be more careful in the future.

On the bright side, your E38 is running superbly now. Sort out the interior and yours will surely be a winner. I have some ideas on customising your interior. We will talk about that.

deal wth him once..bought my 18 rims said going to pay end of the month..after numerous call, he bank in half the money then cannot give more coz my rims r 'bengkok" he said.I said why not inspect before take it n after month u claim its "bengkok"..i said i want my rim back then he said cannot la sent t rims for respray already..many excuses this n that

the world is full of this kinda nonsense people...wanna share a similar experience with you guys

a couple of months ago i went to check out an E36 at kampung melayu subang, the guy said it was at a workshop...when i got there i saw that the left front rim was ori bmw, the right front rim was the spare, and the back two were ACS :stupid:

so i asked the fella why, he said the car was involved in a fender bender and the front right rim was damaged/cracked or something...being a naive little boy i believed him, luckily i brought along an older and more pro friend who's in the used car business...after giving the car the once over, he pointed out that half the front driver's door had been repainted and something underneath the engine (cant remember what it was, maybe ARB) had been replaced...btw the gearbox coupling was also shot to hell, when i shifted around just to test it i thought i was in the middle of an earthquake...conclusion, someone might've driven the thing into a ditch :62:

guys name was nik something, so dont buy a maroon E36 318 from him :top:

Hi Yazid - I have already highlighted what I know about this person in this thread. There may be other members here in the forum that can help further with this.
It appears that I am not the only person in this forum who has had a bad experience with this individual.
