bro, I have a feeling a lot of members here are interested in this mod...a step-by-step guide (with pics) from purchasing the correct parts (with part numbers etc) to the installation and final testing of the gearknob would definitely earn you a lot of "likes" and benefits others for many generations to come..

nevertheless from my personal experience, it's one of the satisfying-looking mods done interior wise...congrats and enjoy your ///M5 shifter

Actually the wiring job is very easy may be I can draw and upload in forum.the knob I don't have the part number this is m5 smg knob which come with 6 wire.

No need to cut the wire I strip the wire and joint the new wire and seal with 3m black tape.
