Cquartz or Opticoat or diamond brite

To all Sifu:Kindly advice which is better: cquartz, opticoat, diamond brite.

Now if its regarding the poll then I will go for opticoat. I just believe in the fact that try out the thing which haven't been tried yet. But Bon_tan you can wait till others tell about their polls and opinions.

If just limited to those 3 products/system, IN GENERAL, I'd go with Opti Coat. But each of the 3 above has their own strengths and weaknesses, pro and cons, etc. Anything specific you're looking for?

I have opticoated my ride 3 months ago and all I can say it really shines and for the price i pay I am truly satisfied with the product. Have not used the other product so can't comment.

Never tried the other two products. I have the Diamond Brite for my civic couple years back, and the shine does last about +/- 2 years with my 'lazy care', in other word whichever product you are considering it still need a proper and regular car wash and wax to make the 'shine' last longer.

you can try shine n shield,coated few cars there,just need to go back there once a year for touch up and polish.

I personally will not apply Cquartz for a reason it takes a lot of effort to be removed. Just imagine if the car needs to be resprayed, and the car is coated with a really hard layer of Cquartz what will happen if it is not properly removed prior to respray??? Just my 0.2 cents.

hrrrmm....Just a thought, if a bodyshop re-spray a panel without doing any sanding/scuffing/etc., it goes to show that bodyshop is cutting corners and not doing a proper job, wound't it? A 'proper' re-paint would be to sand down the panel until the base coat before re-painting, isn't it?

Anyway, I've used CQuartz and still have a few panels of my car wearing it. Not that difficult (relatively) to remove. Though difficult to be remove chemically, mechanically it just need a mild polish.

I got my new F10 3 weeks ago, Sophisto Grey.
Is it recommended to go for Diamond Coat Treatment for new BMW car?
What is the advantages and disadvantages of doing this?
I appreciate the rich experiences that I so far very much admire from this resourcesful club.

My intend is to have lasting shines of my UDM as well provide protection to the paint.
