Check the Paint work for Marring,Swirls,Water Marks and Few Isolated Deep Scratches...apart from that you check with the Few Manufacturing* Probs that normally comes with F30 on this Forum...Good Luck:smokin:

1) Under the seats - Check for rust. Take your phone camera, turn on the flash and snap a picture.
2) Check the Mileage, odometer.
3) Ask them to lift the car and check underneath
4) Check all electronics are functioning. Play with all the buttons.
5) You can't do much about the swirls and water marks or whatever. Complaining will just make them send it for a repolish further thinning the paint. Just get it done at a reputable detailer later :p
6) Try playing with the steering to see if you can hear the knocking sound :p
7) Start the engine and take it for a spin, driving it like you stole it, and forget about every single problem because nothing compares (nothing affordable anyways)
8) Show up for the F30 TT with your new beast :p

Check the dashboard gap and check the loose tail lamp issue as well.

No need to check for anythings, the car is registered under your name already. Hahahaha! Any problem just bring back to claim!

if u dont sign the paper, does that meant that u can choose for another car if u found faulty on this car ??

To all bros and sis,

Collected my car yesterday afternoon and so far nothing major occurred but noticed a few issues;

1) Passenger seat (only) underneath a little bit rusty but overall good.
2) Gear panel (triangle) a bit shaky.
3) Some weird sound coming from break paddle when apply
4) Year made claimed in registration card 2013 but my production is Nov 2012.

I guess i can leave with it. So far driven at average speed 120km/h and heard the wind noise as mentioned in this forum.
Car is perfectly fine but I must condemn the iDrive. It is not user friendly and I don't like it at all. Well then again I can leave with it

My car is 320i black. Bluetooth enable so I can sync playing music and telephone command at the same time.
My glove box do not have any USB port.

I hear the same sound when applying the brakes. Not very audible but noticeable when radio is off and driving at low speeds. Mine is also 320i

Orbital.. congrats on your new ride :top:

Go on the highway and get up to 140kmh. Try detract if there's any issues on the wheel alignment & balancing.
If I'm not wrong, SA wil provide free alignment/balancing if problem detected within 5 days or so.

If u wanna join the F30 whatsapp grp, PM your hp no. to Wolfdire a.k.a Dr Paul.

Cheers

Congrats on your new ride Orbital...:top: If you really wanna test your Ride...i think you really need to join us for one of our Drives...Route 68 :smokin:

As i try to familiarize the car, I notice

1) If I don't lock the car, the iDrive will still on. So is it recommended to lock the car every time
2) Can't open the truck using leg motion as highlighted in the manual book. Is it for 328i and above only?
3) There's a lock nut to unlock one of the special nut on the wheel but what about other nut, how to open in case i need to change tyre?

And lastly i would like to share with you guys that if you drive under the hot sun with maximum aircond blast, temperature will shoot up to almost 110celcius. Then when the car is slowly cool, I reduce the aircond moderately and the temperature slowly crawl back to normal.

1. When you press the stop button 1st time, it just shuts down the engine. The ignition is still on. Don't press the brake pedal and press the stop buttom 1 more time to turn off everything.
2. only for 335i
3. read manual .. :)

hmm, never happen for me, but mine is 320d.
