The Mersey Beatles will be in KL from the 01st Nov until the 06th Nov playing several shows. The only public performance is their HRC gig. Ive personally seen them perform at The Cavern Club in Liverpool early this year. They are good! Closest thing you'll get to the original and you can never get a reunion of The Beatles anymore, with the passing of both John and George. Their gig at HRC is on Sat, 04th Nov, Cover is only RM25.00 inclusive of the 1st drink. Showtime starts at 11.00pm but please do come early as its gonna be a sell-out.Read more: http://www.themerseybeatles.com/ The Star 09th Oct 2006 Tribute to the Beatles Hard Rock Café Kuala Lumpur celebrates 15 years in town, and what better way to do it than to throw a special tribute showcase to the legendary Beatles. Nov 4 marks a night of Beatle mania and will see Liverpool’s No. 1 Beatles Tribute Band – The Mersey Beatles – take to the stage from 11pm. The Mersey Beatles are also the official Beatles Band for Liverpool and the Cavern City Tours, owner of the world famous Cavern Club. Known for its incredible strong stage presence, enthusiasm and zest, The Mersey Beatles are among the closest you can get to the excitement of seeing the legendary Beatles in concert. The band hopes to recreate the Beatles’ music and fully capture the excitement and energy created by the original FAB Four.

Mersey Beatles from Liverpool – The Beatles Tribute band. The Mersey Beatles are natural, vibrant, funny and above all, very talented musicians. As fellow Liverpudlians, The Mersey Beatles are extremely proud to be part of a worldwide love affair with both The Beatles and the city of their birth. Like the original Fab Four, the members of The Mersey Beatles were all born in Liverpool. The band was formed in 1999 by Dave Howard (as George Harrison), Jason Murray (as John Lennon), Brian Ambrose (as Ringo Starr) and Steven Howard (as Paul McCartney) and started its career by joining the annual Liverpool Beatles Festival in 1999. The band then performed at the Albert Dock, on a floating stage on the River Mersey, broadcast by the US cable network CNN and it became a major boost to the tribute band’s profile. Since then, bookings from major venues around Britain followed. The Mersey Beatles has since toured all over Britain and played at both rock clubs and festivals. The show is part of a two-show stop for the group, the other appearance will be at a charity Dinner in aid of the Kidney Foundation of Malaysia, at the Sunway Resort Hotel, Petaling Jaya on Nov 2. For the Hard Rock gig, showtime is at 11pm. Cover charges apply. Hard Rock Café Kuala Lumpur is situated at Wisma Concorde, along Jalan Sultan Ismail, right in the hub of KL’s nightlife.

Well, she was just 17,

And the way she looked was way beyond compare.
So how could I dance with another (ooh)
And I saw her standin' there.

Ooh I need your love babe,
Guess you know it's true.
Hope you need my love babe,
Just like I need you.

Zam, HRC is celebrating their 15th year anniversary and this is a treat for all. Its the normal cover charge of RM25.00 incl 1 drink. No reservations allowed. You can have dinner there but they will still collect the cover if you are staying for the show. Anyway, you cant see anything from the dinner tables.
"music is best enjoyed standin and movin with the groove"!!!
Do come early.

It was AWESOME!. To the Beatles fan who missed it, Dude, the closest thing you can get to the real Beatles. AWESOME, not only in the music, but the on stage banters and the way they play and all the equipments they use is all Beatles. It's as Beatle as you can get without seeing the real Beatle.

To the Mersey Beatles, do come again...please

Yes, it was truly an awesome performance......the best Ive seen of the several Beatles tribute bands around.

HRC was the perfect venue for these lads as the jammed and tightly packed crowd made them feel at home....just like The Cavern Club back in Liverpool...........which is also always jammed packed whenever they perform.

It had been a hectic, busy and stressful week for me but it was worth every minute..........just sent them off to the airport. Hope to bring them in again someday soon.

"I lived my dream!"
