brand new e90 325i or recond e92 335i ??

hai all , got a big dilemma in my head now , everyday cant think straight due to this racun....undecided to buy brand new e 90 or recond e 92 , 3 years warratnty vs 335i power and ouuummpphh.will be using the car for daily use to work , send kids for tution etc etc....i am staying around pandan , is there any good workshop or mechanic that can handle my 335i well if i decided to buy it . 325i i s a good buy with all the warranty and got a brand new car , less hassle , but still half of the brain thinks 335i is the best choice.......pleasssseeee .....helllpppp!!!thanksss

Why don't u get a 335i e90,u get the best of both.There are two units(a black e90 335i and a blue e90 335i) at Zaibi Motors Bangsar.4door practicality and twin turbo heaven,all rolled into one.

Hands down the 335i. 3.0 litre engine with twin turbo. The only thing the E90 325i has going for it is 2 extra doors.

When u drive 325, and a 335 drove past, that time you'll know you should have got the 335.
Forget about local warranty & BSRI (you paid it anyway)
Make sure to get some warranty which some grey import dealers do offer.

No doubt the 335i is a fantastic car and all, but do consider the positive side to a new 325i LCI with 2yrs warranty and 3yrs or 60,000km BSRI...which gives you relatively peace of mind while you enjoy your UDM. Yes, the 325i is only 218HP and 250NM of torque, but at least you get 4 door (good when you have kids or occasionally you want to fetch your in laws) as it is quite practical for your day to day needs. Let me give you some reasons why you should consider a new 325i ya.....
1)2 Yrs Warranty
2)3yrs or 60,000km BSRI
3)4 door
4)Brand new car - new leather smell, low or zero mileage, the car is untouched
5)New tyres - New RFT's (2nd generation - quite confortable)
6)New M-Sports suspension, New M-Sports Steering, New Paddle Shifters, New I-Drive, etc
7)New PaintWork - We get SKD units, so all the body panels have been pre-spray painted from Factory prior to assembly

Alll in all, you are assuared thats its a brand new car, peace of mind....enjoy the new ride worry free. Then once you get bored with the 325i after a few years, then you upgrade to the 335i....then there is more excitement and anticipation in getting the upgrade....

Bro,

If going for grey import do check the mileage.

The trip meter can be rigged. Get a mechanic with diagnose set to plug in. Read somewhere here a certain car had higher reading shown in the diagnose.

If you like speed and serious torque and don't mind the risk of grey import and straight away paying for maintenance, 335 is for you.

If you want to enJOY BMW ownership with respectable power & peace of mind, 325 is not a bad choice ( with occasional "what if's" thot on Audi A4 Quattro, C250 and 335i obviously)

But with 335 power, you wouldn't care about warranty & maintenance.
Want new car smell, send it to car spa and they'll spray new car perfume.
Want 2 extra doors, there's 335 E90

Or better still - set up a RM2 company, and secure tax write offs for the capital expense of the "company" car

I couldn't agree more. Driving home from the showroom a brand new or even one with very low mileage (pre reg) is a fantastic feeling. The car itself is sheer driving pleasure...but the drive home from the showroom,....thats priceless!

As for a good discount, infact over the last weekend, AB KL had a private sale and I heard they sold more than 80cars over both Sat & Sun, amazing, and the discounts were quite substantial.....so biuying a BMW in Q4 timeframe is always a goodbuy as they would want to meet their quota and clear their stocks....

Hi funj...but those BMW driver's Training cars are really thrashed during the training...so unless they really offer a significant disc...else I wud not even consider...Having said all that. they wud have replaced all the necessary wear & tear parts before they sell right? Eg.Tyres, brake pads, Brake discs, etc....

Unless, u wanna get it as a track car or second car, then its something to consider
