halloo members...I just experience a sudden of brake failure yesterday...after i carry out manual bleeding.. the brake pedal travel very low to stop... hmm i suspect the brake master cylinder problem... how bout ur thoughts ???anyone know how much for the master cylinder repair kit on the 90's 320 brake booster? ?? i thought to overhaul the master cylinder or maybe buy new one if not too expensive...anyone know what brand/where/how much to get a good steel braided hose for e30 320 suspension ?? ur information are appreciated... thanksss

how did u do ur manual bleeding? possible u may have left an airpocket in there somewhere.as for brake pumps, better get brand new. ive used the repair kits (albeit on a mazda) and they dont last very long. good luck!redd

can be other things also.. piston seal out, rear seal out, never bleed from the rear first..please go and check it out immediately before you get into an accident..regards.

when you bleed the oil, it better to throw away the old oil.. do not reuse the oil.. you need about two cans to flush the old oil out and refill them...

yes yes... i renew the oil already... but after brake failure.., i carry out brake bleeding.... Then which wheel should i start bleeding from ???i started at rear left, rear right, front left and end at front right,...i just carry out manual bleeding as usuall...tomolo i will request to bring my car into my training center...becoz insdie got bleeding machine... hopefully its approved and helps...

how about bleeding by using bleeding machine???from which wheel should i start the bleeding ???thankss

my brake booster will produce some air leaking sounds when i apply brake on the passenger side under dashboard...... HHuuPPSSS , HHuuPPSSSSSdoes anyone experience this ??? why ar ??

bleed from the wheel furthest from the reservoir... Rear right... then work towards the wheel nearest to the reservoir.HoweverFYI, for 318i, there is only 1 metal pipe that goes to the rear and then split to 2 near the rear subframe. it's not 1 dedicated line which goes right to the caliper on each side for the rear... It's dedicated line for the front but not for the rear.

how about this theory ???as i carry out bleeding on W211 E class sbc system by using star diagnosis... the procedure started from rear right , rear left , front left, front right.... but thats with sbc system..normally i used to carry out manual bleeding on any cars as what fabian said... i'm not so sure for e30... Um... i will try once more tomolo.. hopefully is works.. thanks for ur information fabian....

If the sound is rhythmic, its your fuel pump. Sat at the back in a Toyota Camry and heard similar sound. Could it be some other pump in the engine bay?

haloo friend..yesterday i brought my car to cary out bleeding by using machine... now my brake is more efficient than before my brake failure....woohoo

i think i'm going to overhaul the master cylinder first....new one is so expensive.... hehehe
