Which means, plus the duties is the cost of car nett without distributor mark up yet; </p><p></p><p>>1,800 - Total Duties 150.25% </p><p>>1,800 - 2,000 - 2,500 - 3,000 - Total Duties 221.75% </p><p></p><p>So, an example would be the AUDI A4 B7 2.0TFSI at CIF is RM 107,040 + Total Duties (157.40%) of RM 168,480.96 would mean the car nett at CIF would be RM275,520.96 </p><p></p><p>By the time the mark up comes in would be around RM300,000 to RM310,000, assuming about RM30,000-RM40,000 mark up. </p><p></p><p>The worse hit would be the Audi TT 1.8T as at 2006 prices, it's only RM85,105. Even with duties of RM 127,870.26, total CIF would only be RM212,975.26. EM sells theirs at RM290,000+. Man, that's almost RM100,000 mark up!!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
