Ideas are nothing unless turned into ultimate driving machine reality. The later is what people care, no?

Maybe BMW intends to enter non-automotive making business too, in which case dropping the UDM tag would make sense since UDM is always associated with automobiles only.

Is it a case of BMW trying to emulate Porsche? Ferdinand Porsche is well known for having many ideas, not necessarily automative related. In fact, Porsche Design is a separate company from Porsche the car maker.

Anyway, ideas alone is not good enough. A lot of people have many ideas. Sepp Blatter, the president of FIFA is well known for having many ideas. His nick name was Sepp "50 ideas a day, 51 of them bad" Blatter...........

I think they dropped it because, as some of you have mentioned, its too focused a tagline. But I also think its quite impossible for a car company to really claim itself as the ultimate driving machine. its too loud a tagline, because there are also many great driving cars on the market today.
