PM Vincent Hor - Unker Vince got lots of spares. He just restored a 635csi.

Hi Shenloh, I am restoring my son's E24 635csi I have lots of extra spares. Do give me a call & see how I could assist. My mobile Zero one six two two five eight eight three one.

Some of the things that i have, Power windows, interior complete M Tech sport electric seats with rear aircond & cooler box (this item is super rare) found only in the late L6 model, doors, fenders, meter cluster, A pillars, B pillars, fuel tank, interior chrome fittings already polished like new, door sills, window glass, rear wind screen, 635 engine, ZF 4HP 22 auto gear box, long shaft, front & rear bumpers, M Tech spoiler, head lights, etc etc

Good luck with restoration. I have an E24 myself. Fantastic cars, that i like to see on the road more often in Malaysia. :)

Had no idea of this Bluegreen, guess i need to go over and pay them a visit.

Thank You

Thank You everyone!!

The car is still in Penang. I will be bringing it back here in August/Sept.

Vincent Hor, I will definitely give you a call then.

Will also check out bluegreen.

Thanks again, this helps a lot!

Hi Tor, You have an excellent car. I have heard about BMW E24. The BMW M6 gives advanced level of efficiency in comparison to all other models launched by the BMW. I just wanted to ask that what is the mileage given by BMW E24 on city roads ?

Hi Shenloh,

Have you started on your 628 yet? I am about to start on my 635 (but not DIY lah, I just project manage, he he). Here's to hoping it works out well for the both of us

Hi Unker Vince, can see your son's restored 635 for reference? Hee hee, must learn from those with experience.

Cheers!

Hi guys, i will be restarting my 635csi restoration in these coming weeks after laying off for more than a year. Good to know there many E24s under restoration now...my advise, please get all the rubbers asap if you intend to. Coz the prices are seriously going up. I bought the full set of rubbers a year ago for more than RM6k. Just rubbers

Hi Wolverine, what year is your E24 that you're restarting the restoration project?

Mine is original 1984... But the previous guy who owned it for more than 15yrs converted it to Highline specs in the year 1999.Hence the car looks like the last SE model ;)

That is cool! :top:

Mine, according to the JPJ document was built in 1989 but was registered in 2002. But a check on the VIN Decoder says that it was built in October 1988.

Is the Highline the one with the rear a/c blower? I've seen some pictures on the internet with those.

Cheers.

Spot on! Good to know there is another 'big bumper' E24... Hopefully, when all these E24s restored, we could hv a drive together:tee:

Sounds like a plan to look forward to!

Mine doesn't have the rear a/c blower though. But it does have the rear headrest.

I'll be posting queztions for pointers for sure now that I know there are many fks with the E24 here.

Cheers.

This is the rear aircond & cooler box that I have in my E24. It's got the rear sun blinds too.
