blowoff valve for the 320d?

this thought came about when i was reading one of the threads for the E92 335s. In a way, the diesel's my first turbo charged car, let alone my first diesel. Is it possible to install a blow off valve, and if so what's the benefit? My reason to have one is probably to enjoy the chirping or whoosh sound! lol

There is a blowoff kit for Diesel engine....!! I did it on my Nissan Navara..!!
What benefit for installing Blowoff valve ??? To protect the surge of your Turbo & longer lasting too..!! Another benefit is when on highway...when tailgating those bugger that hogging the speed lane....Once release the whooossshhh sound..!! immediate they will give way even Cayenne Turbo...!! One day I will do it on my 530D.........that fun..!!:top:

I have not fix the blowoff valve but my navara club member fixed onto their pickup, I must tell you the sound from it is fantastic. It will scared the shit out of the driver whom you speed past and overtake. I witness few pickup when I had a TT last Saturday.............. :rock:

LOL yeah, I remember there was once when a kenari was following closely behind me and I accelerated a bit and my rear passengers asked me why my blowoff sound damn loud. I had to sadly say that the blowoff sound that they were listening to was not from my car but coming from the kenari hahahahaha

Guys! My Navara loaded with BOV & now enjoying everyday on the road..!!! Even BImmer oil burner will give way when i pass them the hissing sound...!!

FYi, HKS original has develop the BOV for diesel turbo..!! The price for the BOV + the kit around $2K ++. If you guys wanna get for your TURBOS oil burner !! I will tell you where can get it..!!
