sounds good bro. im attending a session at mmz bkt jelutong tmrw nite 9.30pm onwards. come la....

Back to topic.

From my findings, not all B4 or B6 or B8 has the same firmness. Do check the reference manual carefully not just from forums or Internet.

My personal suggestions, if you prefer firmer / sportier ride but don't want to spent the extra hard earn cash for B6 go for one rate firmer
ie go for 330 front and rear touring/convertible model. Unfortunately you can't find B4 for M series.

Good luck and go to a reliable and monitor the installation personally. Professional alignment is a must after installation of new shocks.

Reference

What is the difference between Comfort(C), Heavy Duty(HD), Sport(SP), Touring (TC), Rallye, and 5100 settings?

Comfort (C) and Touring (TC) - original equipment shocks that came with your vehicle - will provide the same ride that the vehicle had when it was new.
Heavy Duty (HD) - MOST POPULAR CHOICE, Designed to work with your factory springs these will provide a firmer, more controlled ride in cars and a more stable ride in Trucks and SUV's.
Sport - Designed for use with an aftermarket lowering spring (H&R, Eibach, etc.)* The Sport will be firm and actually made to work with a lowered aftermarket suspension (springs).
Rallye shocks are specifically set to meet the rigorous demands of driving competition.* These items are not usually suited for street use.

Yeap for standard/non-M tech sedans. M-tech ones are very rare I was told

fellow bimmerians, the coilovers are made in taiwan with the brand name "Yellow", relatively new in the market but the manufacturer are veterans in the abs and bbk industry. In actual fact i did change to B6 just for the heck of it before embarking on the coilovers. Trial and error i suppose. So far im happy with the ride comfort.

Due to my itchyfied mind at that time, now i have a spare set of complete set of B6 with AC springs lying in my store:20:. Just hope the missus doesnt start complaining abt the extra set taking up space pulak:42:
Jeff, i m thinking of putting in D n D coilovers in my son's e36 328. Total cost rm3k inclusive of installation. How does this compare to d yellows u r currently using. Yr input is appreciated.

Bro, best way is to test drive :) But on the side note this is what i heard from the industry be it DnD, or yellow, or k-sport , any taiwan brand actually comes from the same factory hence the price range is the same.
therefore theorically you are buying the same brand with different markings :p

Mine I am running ISC which is also taiwan :p Welcome to try if you want :p
