Beware of this forummer

I am not sure whether to post up this thread. Been thinking very long and I think I should share this with forummers here.We have a member here nick name is apoo or sham328. Actually I have known him since the 1st day I join this forum. Been frens for a couple of years. During last year bmw gathering at sunway, he decided to bring in his car to do some mods. He spend around rm2k plus at my shop. I thought since I know him for so long, I let him have the car 1st without paying a single cents cos he promise me to pay me a week after. as weeks go by, no news at all then I start calling him. Yes he did answer n tell me he is in all sorts of problem lar. In hospital lar, in police station lar, cannot collect money lar. He always promise me he will pay but in the end no matter how many times i have call him n he beg me to give him more time. Until now is more than one year, he never pay back a single cents. I have heard stories abt him having the same problem with other forummers. So beware. In the end I will just ask debt collector to collect the dues from him.There are a lot of nice people here in the forum but some culprits here are always taking advantage on others.I would not remove this thread until I get the money that is owed. This is a warning to sham n to other forummers too.

Yes... one workshop told me.. those BMW Club people many po-kai fellas and all his shop's bad debt are from BMW Club fellas. Combine value of near 6 figures. When I asked which club because quite a few around, he say not sure.

He say if a BMW, first time drop by and ask for ATF change, he will not do. Reason is after you replace their ATF, they will return and claim you a gear box..

I am not surprise at all to hear this. There are many luxury car owners are po-kai fellas. Look nice outside but very bad inside. Anyway, owning a nice car doesn't really shows the real financial status of a person.

You have a TRD Avanza, E90 & a Volvo (for life) in the car porch, you are living cosily in a double storey (in a fine neighborhood)...this you classified as po-kai fella meh?

Your E90 stays stock standard doesn't mean you are one of them (po-kai kaki). You are waiting for the warranty to expire & mod begins.

sometimes it is hard for us. adliz aka adam put his rim here in my shop to sell. then a forummer came n interested to purchase the particular rim for his e39 ( green colour). He told me can he take one piece n go n test fit then i said ok. then later he came back in the afternoon saying that he will colect the other 3 rims n tell me he is going to fit it in his fren tyre shop in old klang road. then he will return to pay me the money. I stupidly agreed n let him have the rim n after that I dun see him again till now. I have to pay back the money to adam. Haiz. this was during 3 years ago. Super bad luck. Maybe I am too nice to ppl.

Yes Marco, plenty of this type of people running around and sorry to hear your rather unpleasant experiences.

Best is COD, and no credit terms. Similarly in another sparepart shop (innerpower), there is an official member that owed them for more than a year and refused to pay. Sigh...
