was refering to the 325i not the 325i sports..think the 325i is below 300k..thanks for the input bro

I think each car has their own merits and it would be too general to lump them together.

For example, I would say the Honda Civic Type-R offers the best bang for $$$ in the boy-racer wannabee category with the Golf GTi a close second.

In the Chic and cool car market, the Mini Cooper S simply has no competitor.

In the luxury mid-size saloon, I would go with the E90 325i over the C Class (yes I am biased! hahaha) because I value driving dynamics, engine refinement more so than looks. That being said, the E90 with some bodykit and rims do look good enough to me.

Cheers!:top:

325i is RM288,800 on the road without insurance... they have a Base Line Model without active steering running type 158 non stagger 17" rim going for around RM270k... seen it 2 weeks ago when price not fixed yet.

Type-R and GTi is below RM200k Bro.. RM199k kot.. what about Volvo S40? :D forgot about this car meh.. :p and Lexus IS250 pulak is RM30Xk.. so out of the range.. :D

Put it this way.. my preference:

1) BMW 325i
2) BMW 320i (I settled on this because I am working with a VIOS budget :( thanks to some creative accounting :D)
3) VW Golf GTI
4) AUDI A4 2.0
5) Mercedes Benz C200K
6) HONDA CIVIC TYPE-R
7) Volvo S40, Alfa GTA (Tak Mau!!! :D)

My sister drives the VW Golf GTi, so I think I've got enough seat time and credibility to give some insight incase you were considering purchasing one, or just to clear your general thought on the car. =)

Firstly, its everything you hear about it. It's fast, stable, very comfortable, and very contemporary. In other hatchbacks you may feel a slight uncomfortable fear when you hit its top speeds. But in the GTI, my sister, my girlfriend and myself all hit 260-280km/h on the highway and the car was just as stable as it were static. And how can I talk about the GTi without mentioning its DSG gearbox. I must say, it is a pleaure to drive with. Even today, I still drive it sometimes and cannot believe how smooth and fast the gears change. Even in auto-mode, the gears change seemlessly on its on to get the maximum amount of torque for each situation. It's almost like magic. German magic. Haha. Where comfot is concerned, the seats are highly adjustable, and theres alot of room in the back as well. And supposedly the 4-door ones are abit lighter than the 2-doors, so that's two birds with one stone. Haha.

Sorry I cant give much feedback on the other cars. I've personally driven a C230, a BMW 328i and an AUDI S4, so my various opinions for each car would be rather unnaccurate when concerning the cars you mentioned.

Like what I have listed down earlier, should BMW never existed, it will be a GTi that's park under my garage today.. :D It give the next best run for my RM200k after BMW E90.

I think BMW is going towards the GTi direction. They already installed a twin turbo unit in the new 6 series. I believe by the end of this year, many new interesting cars will arrive. One of them that is worth waiting is the Golf 1.4 TSi. The price should be just under 200K.:top:
