My new favourite past-time. Driving after the rain watching the water bead off the windscreen and engine. Blame KC for my new hobby! :4:

A few more to share. :4:

Macha.... smaller better leh. Indicates higher surface tension.

Wahh, serious ka??? Didn't know about that. Haha. Ice's E36 will have better surface tension than mine cos mine's never been touched by a rotary before! :4:

Haha, using Meg's Gold Class Liquid Wax. My car never been detailed before bro, so still can see loads of scratches and bird sap on the paint.

Haha. Looks can be deceiving bro. One day you come view my car under the lights and you'll know what I mean. :4:

I still have the tin of NXT paste wax actually. Use a bit then give up cos paste wax very tiring to apply. :4:

Thanks for the offer Ice. May just take you up on the offer to borrow your M16 one day. :top:

If the paint condition is good and free from contaminants, a paste wax will go on as easily as a liquid wax.

:top::top::top: Totally agree with that. On a clean surface (e.g. just polished), when applied correctly, it's as easy (if not easier) than using a liquid ones. The golden key with paste waxes is to apply them ULTRA THIN .

Thanks for your feedback Krismas. Used to rely on paste waxes, but then, I guess lazy me got sidetracked into using liquid waxes instead. :4:

Woops, what I meant to say was that it seems more tiring for me to buff off the wax by hand as compared to the ones I applied using the liquid wax. Then again, like Krismas said, the key is to apply the wax very thinly...

Dunno why I have the tendency to feel rather paranoid when the surface doesn't have a 'visible' streak of wax upon it... :4: Hence, the multiple application of waxes on the applicator before covering that said area...

I was like you before bro, until, after a while, I realised that I'm doing nothing except for wasting products. Didn't get any extra protection, durability, looks, etc. by taking that 'extra' precautions of using more products. The only EXTRA that I got was more effort required to remove/buff them off.

Hmm, I guess I must change my mindset when it comes to the application of products. More doesn't necessarily mean better... :top:
