Awana Breakfast Drive Feb 20, 2011.

For group photo shoot, suggest go to the very large bus parking lot which is about 3 km up from Awana. We did that for our previous offcial drive to Awana. Deep3102 should know the location.

Wah! how come club's name is used without the knowledge of any of the CM? or was it just Treasurer is left out of the loop? If bill not settled, club kena sue lor?!

AB, this was booked by Syam who works for Awana. In order for him to get the discount and said privelleges he had to tag this to a "body". His intentions were pure and he spoke to me about it. I said this is fine, bcos we WILL settle the bill. So you do not have to worry about BMWCM being sued or anything of that sort. If this is not OK, we will have to change to individual names and then we lose the 30% discount that he has secured. Pls advise if this is truly an issue. Tq

Thank you for the clarification. Its better for me to be first to blow the whistle before another that had ill intention. Please keep me in the loop, by email or what not because as long as the club's name is used, its official matter and we take this very seriously. Please let us know first in the future if u intend to do similar thing again. Please also PM me should there be more of such instances in the past.

Noted. And if u infer that I had ill intentions, then obviously you are a poor judge of character. I would not want to con BMWCM out of RM590.00. However can we continue on this arrangement for Awana for the benefit of all attendees? If cannot, then I hate to be the bearer of bad news to the others that their 30% discount is gone. Pls advise asap. Tq

And for the record, I am only taking the brunt of this bcos a club guest with solid intentions worked out this deal and I do not want him feeling bad over this.
 
Serjit, I think what AB meant in his reply is that it's best that he himself flagged this up, before another CM found out and made more noise.

Hope I didn't misinterpret it.

Using the club's name to organise thing is indeed a wonderful thing and is encouraged! But must let the MC know in advance because the MC is answerable shall the deal turn sour or attracted unnecessary legal liability.

I can't be speaking on behalf of the entire MC for now but I personally felt should there be any benefit in the arrangement, only OM is entitled for obvious reason. If possible only the renewed 2011 OM just to encourage prompt renewal, if not too much to ask.

also.. since already dapat 30% discount, get the Guest (if any) to pay full price and pass the "untung" to the club or Good Samaritan Home.. one stone kills multiple birdies..

don't fuss lah.. Club isn't liable as no Official will sign any document on behalf. anybody sues us, we take them to the cleaners.
