Yes Borbet do made rims for bmw, but it is not available widely in Malaysia such as ACS, Breyton and Hartge. I got a friend using borbet on an E30. Maybe u need to ask a dealer to import for you.

haha....they still got new rims for Malaysian market. E36 and E34 models above.

Sounds expensive, the web site said EUR200 per rim for 17s, so after the dealer brings in wonder how much.

Did call up one of the dealers for Borbet in Malaysia, was quoted RM3.5K, just for them 16" Type A rims suited for an e30.

Gave up to buy new, no budget, got my brothers to scout around them chop-shops for any 2nd hand ones instead, still searching though.

rm3.6 is cheap for Borbet la...and its light weight. I was qouted rm4 for 15" in the mid 90s and I sold that set of Borbet "A "liao.

16" Borbet A second hand is also going for around RM3k per set in certain chop shops, if you can find them in the first place. There is one used set in Puchong chop shop asking for RM3,500.

for borbet A, it worth every penny la... ive using it for a year now , bought it brand new and still put a wide smile on my face whenever i see the rims on my car...

but now my smile wider when i look @ my staggered RDs on my e34

nope that not the rims I was quoted by the dealer, best you call them up to ask for more information etc.

My brothers confirmed they can get Borbet A 16", 2nd hand below RM2K, we'll wait & see.

Anyway, will always consider a brand new set of rims etc, if there's BONUS from my company this year end, hehehehehehehehehehe.
