I restored an 1800 in '77-78, not sure of the DoM could be 63-65.
When I was in primary school, we all laughed and ran after the canteen owner's funny looking little car which had a door in the front and a tiny horizontally opposed aircooled engine in the back. The engine looked like a motocycle engine complete with cooling fins. It certainly sounded like one with its distinct toot toot toot sound.
All the time I thought it was a Fiat. I now suspect that it was an Isetta. If it is then it certainly got to be one of the oldest BMW in Malaysia and certainly one of the rare cars in world. Wonder what happened to it.
