Just want to share it with everybody.Got my old UDM without the bonnet heat protection, so manage to contact the company that do the custom size heat protection. This company produce a product by the brand of He So Vi (Heat, Sound and Vibration) and they are the supplier for Perodua. Those day they do the installation but now they only supply the product. You can have any size and shape that you want. For a place that are easy to install, they will do it for you such as under the bonnet.I do the installation on 17/1/2005 (that was almost a year a go) and my main objective to keep away the heat from the bonnet paint. The thing can be wash with water and i'm satisfied with the performance.It cost me RM120 only and an extra RM3 to clean the bonnet b4 installation (of course by others) to clear all the dirt and oil.I had done for friends Nabira (2 of them) at a cost RM100 per bonnet.They have a pre-cut for national car and now they already have for E30 and Nabira and I believe for other brand and model also.As I mention earlier, I just want to share the knowledge. I'm not removing the old foam, just clean-up under the hood portion from oil and other dirt. The idea is to have a clean area to received the adhesive at the He So Vi product. Mind didn't peel off till now. (did used the waterjet b4 to clean it up, but recommended to wipe only with wet cloth).

That's what they claim. Theoritically it should (upward noise), but you still got a big gap under the engine but it can be applied inside your door, under your carpet, at the roof, inside the trunk etc.

For me, I'm more interested to protect the paint of the bonnet from the engine heat cause the existing heat shield no more there.
