AB sure can, but it will cost me a bomb. It is not worthwhile retrofitting all those changes to my current drive. Even the original GPS installation alone will cost me RM25K!!

Regards

Give it a while, prices will come down. Then again, by that time new model 5 will have come out and you can just change then

If u like the new facelift e60 so muuuuch go ahead but why dont u look at other UDM model i.e. E70 4.8i wah lau eh the horses damn garang one man, my dream car lah.

Guys, the man already made up his mind not to go for it lah and it's a wise decision. Don't racun him anymore lah.

kwwong99, wise decision not to go for replacement. Complete new model should be out in about 3 years. Add another year to it (to fix glitches if any), then, go for a new one. You will probably get the same price when you are selling off your current car in 3 - 4years time as you would get if you change now. One big difference is, you have used your car for 3 - 4 years.

As for GPS, most software don't show you shortcut routes, only the main ones which are usually longer. At present, ikt is a novelty having GPS, in Malaysia, at least. I am selling off my Dopod U1000 for RM3,788, with full set of accessories, if you are really keen on a GPS. The Dopod U1000 is close to an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC). IT has a beautiful 5" screen, GPS, wifi, bluetooth, 8GB micro-drive, etc.

Will definitely save you tons of money.

kwwong99, i think whether you are insane or not depends on how much you earn per month. If you earn 100k a month (i suspect is either this figure or pretty close, may 88k ? :) ) then come on...what's the issue ?

To me, i think BMW Malaysia did a great job doing this facelift with lotsa goodies. It can even attract its existing owners to even "consider" to get another "same" one....Hehehe.

I would rather keep the current one and buy a completely new one in the very near future (2 yrs from now maybe completely new 5 series) and enjoy what you have right now.

But then again....i don't make 100k a month...sigh...so you can disregard my opinion. Perhaps i'll do the same if i'm in your position..kekekeke
