Hi,jackzai,
For what model of car absorber you are looking for?

Bro, why do u want to repair. An absorber is a closed system. Once u breach it, it'll never be the same. Unless u get those adjustable ones la. Assume that ur on stock?

unless its a titan monotube

yeah why would you want to rebuild if it is stock.. or even B6 B8?? unless it is monotube, its not repairable regardless whatever other geniuses says..

Yes, each absorber is sealed unless it's meant to be serviceable e.g. Titan, Hotbits etc. Once opened, you won't be able to get it back to the same original state that it was in. Even worse is when you service the shock and 4 shocks return to be all different in terms of damping rate. Whole car won't be settled and it'll affect performance and more importantly, safety.

Then chg a set maybe wan use how much buck?

Somebody might claim he can repair it. but the truth is, you'll never get the same result again. what might happen is ur car could look 'senget' or tilt to one side, due to the uneven pressure, or even leaks in the 'repaired' shocks. damping rate would also be affected.

as suggested by the bros here, its advisable to get new shocks (either stock or aftermarkets). If im not mistaken, to change all 4 would cost u less than rm2k. might want to check with in the maintenance for e90 thread for it.

all the best bro.
