Hi allWTA; I wish some one can share with me as I'm looking for original E46 320i Msport shock absorber to replace my existing aftermarket absorber as it's due for replacement. Currently I'm using 18" rim and low profile tire. The info required such as brand, type, location of outlet and estimated price (if possible). Secondly, if in case the original brand or type is no longer available please suggest any other brands and type equivalent to it. Comfort is my priority on selection for other brands.Cheers. .....Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Like what bro consoglieri has mentioned, it is almost impossible to obtain the original BMW M-Sport absorbers here. Even OEM M-Sports replacement which are Sachs Advantage and Boge Turbo is pretty hard to come by, unless you import them directly yourself like what bro haywire did for his E39 or speak to ZF Malaysia and request them to order for you. They cost about RM4.4k the last I asked last year.

Your available options are below (to be matched with your original M-Sport springs):

Non-sports (OEM) setup:
Boge Automatic: approx. RM1.2k (BA or any BMW parts stockist. Widely available)
Bilstein B4 (black): approx. RM970 (First Division)

Sports (aftermarket) setup:
Bilstein B6 (yellow): approx. RM2.1k (Auto Future)
Bilstein B8 (yellow): approx. RM2.6k (Auto Future)
Bilstein B12 (B8 + Eibach progressive springs): approx. RM3.6k (Auto Future)
Koni Yellow (Damping adjustable): approx. RM2.6k (Hakomoto, with installation)
Titan (Custom-made /w height & damping fully tuneable per request): approx. RM2.7k (MPD Auto, with installation)

Depending on your preference, we have forummers here on various setups that gives them the same or even better feel than the stock M-Sports setup.

Thanks wingzee for your clarification and listing various options and seems like I found what I'm looking at basing on the info provided above.

Thanks bro this is what am looking for a while...

Bro, you may consider listing Titan as one of your options other than Bilstein. I believed Mtigo has Titan on his E39 and he's happy with it. The advantage it has over the rest is that it's fully tuneable, serviceable and comes with 2 years warranty.
