ABS and Traction Control Lights Rainy Day

Dear Sifu,

Any idea what is the fault that is causing this? It always happen during rain - some sensor must be wet but not too sure which one.

what happen if u press the asc/dsc button? will it disappear?

Does it come on and stay on or just blinking? If blinking means that your tyres are loosing traction and the system is helping you to correct it.

It stay on - pressing ASC button does nothing.

Could be the wheel speed sensor or it could be your DSC system

one of your wheel speed sensor wire harness insulation is gone.water shorts the conductor and brings on both the trifecta and abs light.you can either do a physical inspection of the wire harness or plug in the pa soft scanner...

i concur with moots since it happens only during rainy days and not permanent. if it is permanent then it could be the abs module is faulty.

hahah guys u kno what,,in my case when hot or normal wheather asc light stay on, pressing ASC button nothing happen still on...buttttt when during rain it will gone...hahahaah pelik tapi benar...i dont kno what to do,,scanner said noting wrong with my speed sensor..ony asc error...

guys, I have the same issue once in a while (either during rain or on the breaks on & off during traffic jam).

but after the car is parked for sometime and start back, it resets on its own and the light goes off.
