also check out E30zone. This guy Glenn is transplanting a E39 M5 V8 engine into an E30 and a V12 engine also into an E30.

if he has access to get the wiring diagrams for the 2 cars then it's not that difficult to do

Its more than having access to the DIS. If you read the whole thread, there is some issues with the DIS, so kinda figured out the wiring himself. On his website, he also did other mods. Very interesting to note how he approach and solve problems. He called it intuition!
