I think u stand a very good chance to get a f30 for free soon :)

I will go with the F30 335, it would be the best model because of the twin scroll turbo, can hit the required speed in good time.

boss..i thought you wish to test if ""the connected drive Internet function is activated either at zero speed or max speed... Facebook parsing still works though from 1 km/h up to 249km/h

and if it... works from Earth to Heaven too"""

You might also want to push your luck a little bit further and ask for a google glass too:)

I will probably ask AES for money. They can document my run and use it for their pr or promotional campaign. Good idea?

Yea... Except that they'll have to install new cameras at locations where u can hit 250km/h constantly but I'm sure the ROI analysis will prove that this is a deal that is too good to be real for them :)

I am looking at a 4.67 ROI. Pretty good returns right?

Speedos are never 100% accurate. There is always a viariation built in. I suspect all this while its so that the manufacturer cannot be sued when an owner is given a ticket for a car that is doing 85 on a 80 limit whilst the speedo says 80. Its been a long time that BMW and other manufacturers have the speedo show about 5-10 kmh more than what it actually is.

Lamoo!!! Long time never hear from you la ... apa macam?

tiANcI brader busy lah doing nothing hehe if free may join this Saturday

Bro is your 528 a little bouncy too ? like the 328i? Or at that speed on the mex , it was stable?

528i is more stable than 328i at high speed.

The F10 platform shares major components with the bigger 7 Series, the lardy 5 Series Grand Turismo, and the heavyweight Rolls-Royce Ghost...that include the suspension design. I read a review somewhere that the ride feels like a downsized RR ghost...

Road condition matters a lot as well at that speed range....

I guess it should ... its heavier and wider/bigger. Not sure about the suspension design though ?

Wheel base different ma.

Guys, just an update on this thread ->

As you guys know, i wanted to find out what was the possible top speed achievable - With Stock equipment / RON 95 for the f30 328i

Well , two days ago , i hit about 256kmh , actually just a whisker below the 260kmh mark on the speedometer. The speed
warning indicator came on ( mine is set to 250kmh)..

The feeling was AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!

Well, i guess we know that the 328i with stock equipment and ron 95 can exceed 250kmh...
:)

The only complaint i have about the 328i in this context is the bounciness.... which can be a little unnerving ...
